Decentralized Spirit as a brand new non-platform (we will be decentralized) pursues a balanced quest for truth in an era where open dialogue has become scarce. Inspired by Goethe’s principle, “The true, the beautiful, and the good,” we seek wisdom.
Purpose is to proliferate unideological and undogmatic views on decentralization, advocating for a deeper understanding of money and its role in society. Our core belief is that the future will be decentralized, and Bitcoin stands at the forefront of this shift. It empowers individuals to take control of their own wealth, free from centralized control and manipulation. To truly grasp the potential of this transformation, people must first understand the nature of money—how it has evolved, how it influences power dynamics, and why decentralization matters.
Truth, too, should be decentralized, which is why we choose to “deplatform” ourselves spread our message across trustless platforms, and invite people from all spectrums.
Bitcoin embodies this openness principle, offering a system where trust is embedded in transactions, not in institutions.
Liberty actually is a thing
We stand for unity over division, recognizing that we are all part of the human family, and Decentralized Technology (DecTec) like Bitcoin and NOSTR will be tools to bring people together by providing financial sovereignty, as well as freedom of speech.
Monetarization
We all dislike to be advertised on. To be pressed to click the like and subscribe buttons and we hate to use the referral code yxz to get 5 percent discount… Our views are monetized in the background by huge centralization machines like Social Media.
Millions of clicks and followers guarantee a certain and often solid income but what is the price? The decentralization advocates of today are highly dependent of centralized platforms like YouTube and Twitter. This is an affront to reason. We rather propagate a decentralized usage. To be fair, we don’t have to live from social media incomes and affiliate contracts.
Bitcoin
The realm of Bitcoin is dangerous. It lurks everywhere and it takes you into the depths of money. Since years reading code and white paper several times it slowly started to make sense and the living organism over millions of different participants started to make sense. Despite bumpy rides and surviving its own “civil war” it is somehow stable now.
Christoph: “I’ am still looking for flaws, mistakes and things to go wrong. It’s the “do not trust, verify” mindset that is inherent to a bitcoiner. The harder you look for the defect, the stronger your belief will be. I predict todays Bitcoin critics will be the biggest supporters in the future.”
Our shared journey will prevail all kinds of interconnections that actually touch and increasingly influence your daily live, and that of people in certain region especially.
This so-called bitcoin rabbit hole is messy and exciting at the same time, giving us a language and a concept that enables us to discuss and think in completely new patterns. You will start questioning what you have always taken for granted in a very personal way – it’s like traveling the world for the first time, realizing what your own culture is really like.
In a time when loss of trust in central authorities marks our times, genuinely decentralized technologies give us tools and options, not just to counter but also the imagination and language to discuss new ways forward.
This journey requires space for discussions and collaborative development. Decentralized Spirit, will provide you with that space, no matter where you are in your journey, through:
- Comprehensive content: From Bitcoin basics to advanced decentralization concepts
- Balanced information: Cutting through flashy headlines to provide accessible and differentiated knowledge
- Open spaces for open discussions: Online and in-person events for discussions and collaborative learning
- Interdisciplinary approach: Exploring decentralization across various fields and with various experts in an open-minded manner to discover new arguments and approaches together
- Critical thinking: Encourage people to question established systems and norms around and also within the community
